You pick up the old circuit at the access gates of the current circuit at the end of the Kemmel Straight and follow it around the route of the old circuit until it reunites with the current circuit just past the current Stavelot corner at Blanchimont. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terribly exciting, it was ridiculously fast back in the day, but this one is all sbout what the road once was. There are still stretches of the old Armco barriers and there is some old advertising hoardings at the old, banked Stavelot corner. Just imagine going through the Masta Kink in a Porsche 917 at full tilt in the wet…
