Peak District Scenic Route

I found this by blocking out motorways on a trip from the North West to Lincolnshire. Lots of elevation changes on a fast flowing A road with a couple of chicanes thrown in for good measure and some long, well sighted straights to open up/overtake. Beautiful scenery and plenty of places to stop for grub. Tideswell and Baslow are worth stopping at. Road is in good condition mostly. Also not a great deal of Kojaks with Kodaks (cameras, fixed or mobile). It can get busy at certain times, be wary of HGVs and Tractors that use this route, there are a lot of farms located along this stretch, but when it’s quiet it’s a joy.
