This route focuses entirely on the high limestone plateau of the Mendip Hills, specifically designed to avoid villages and urban traffic. You will experience two dramatic gorge climbs, a technical descent, and several miles of fast, sweeping high-ground driving. Keep an eye out for free-roaming livestock on the B3134 and B3135. The route timing is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes of driving plus your stop at the lookout.
