Taking the classic B6255 from Ingleton over the high moors to Hawes offers vast, dramatic vistas of the Three Peaks and passes directly beneath Ribblehead Viaduct. North of Hawes, you drop down into the Eden Valley before catching the wonderfully fluid A683 along the River Lune towards Sedbergh. Finish off with crisp back-lane detours around Ingleborough before closing the loop in Settle.
